Billing - What to Expect
Prior to your procedure at the Longmont Surgery Center, we suggest that you contact your insurance company to discuss your coverage, co-pays and/or deductibles.
After surgery, we will file your insurance claims for you. We will ask you to sign an “assignment of benefits form” so that the payment from your insurance company will come directly to the Surgery Center. Any amounts not covered by your insurance, including co-pays, lens fees and implants, will be collected on the day of surgery.
If the facility costs are more than anticipated, you will be billed for the difference. Any overpayment will be promptly refunded to you. Please be aware that the Longmont Surgery Center bill does not include any charges from your surgeon, cardiologist, radiologist, or anesthesiologist. These other services involved in your surgery center treatment will be billed to you separately.
It is our goal to be upfront with you with regard to the cost of your treatment or procedure. We offer free quotes for procedures if you are interested. We believe that you should know what to expect so that you can plan appropriately for the charges. When having surgery at the surgery center can expect to receive bills from the following:
